Over the past seven years, we have offered free dental screenings in the county schools, along with dental education.  In 2005, SFOH partnered with the Washington County Health Department’s Smiles Across Greater Missouri (SAGMO) sealant project to offer sealants to Washington County children. Area schools bus children to Dr.Villmer’s office to receive sealants,  a great way to protect permanent molars against decay.  In 2006, we began offering fluoride applications. A fluoride gel is painted on the children’s teeth twice a year.
